Accessibility Statement

BizSherpa Volunteers Limited is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

The BizSherpa website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard yet.

Accessibility Features

We are integrating the following accessibility features into our platform:

  • High contrast modes and easy-to-read typography.
  • Accessible forms with distinct labels and error states.
  • Keyboard navigation support.
  • ARIA landmarks and semantic HTML tags for screen readers.

Known Issues

We are aware that some areas of the website need improvement:

  • Some PDF documents may not be fully optimized for screen reader software.
  • Certain older blog posts and articles may lack proper alt-text for decorative images.
  • A few interactive elements may currently skip focus outline styling on older browsers.
